Our Mission
The Vallemar Parent-Teacher Organization is a partnership between the Vallemar School Educational Community and their families. The VPTO strives to enrich each student's educational experience so they may aspire to academic excellence and develop social-emotional intelligence. We support family participation; promote fundraising; work cooperatively with community groups; and foster a sense of community in the Pacifica School District.

YOU are the PTO
All Vallemar parents and guardians are members of the PTO. The PTO plays an important role in educating our children. Aside from raising funds for the school, the PTO is also responsible for organizing numerous activities and school programs. It is vital in promoting a sense of community between parents, teachers, staff and the students.

It's About the Kids
Our goal is for every student have the best educational experience possible at Vallemar School. All the work that we do as a PTO from volunteering to fundraising is about the kids. Join us and participate by joining the board, volunteering for an event and dream big for our kids!

The Vallemar PTO is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, tax ID 94-2800093. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.

Parents and volunteers serve a crucial role at Vallemar by giving of their time, talent and treasure to make our school great!

Ways to help out:

Get involved with the PTO – attend monthly meetings 2nd Tuesday of every month at 7:00pm.

Volunteer during school hours. Find out from your teachers on how you can help (i.e. chaperone field trip or help with class activities)! Please check with your class teacher and/or visit school office to inquiry for Live Scan Application for volunteering.

Volunteer after school hours. There are also a number of very important jobs that can be done after school hours or from the comfort of your own home.
