Policies & Procedures
Attendance in classes is open only to students currently enrolled at Vallemar School.
Payment for classes is due in full prior to a student’s attendance.
You may cancel your class enrollment and receive a full refund through the second week of the vAcademy semester. There will be no refunds after the Friday of the second week.
*Absolutely no exceptions will be made to this date.*
IMPORTANT: Any returned check and/or stopped payment issued by your financial institution will be subject to a fee equal to that charged by the financial institution. This fee must be paid prior to your child’s enrollment in any vAcademy class, current or in the future. If any fees are charged by your financial institution, it will result in ALL future vAcademy classes needing to be paid for in cash.
All classes normally run for one hour, but may run longer or shorter depending upon the class, instructor, or particular circumstances. Class begins at 2:50pm on regular days and 1:40pm on Wednesdays and minimum days.
Students who are disruptive may be removed from class at the instructor's discretion.
Class instructors will take roll and report absent children to the school office. Absent students will be paged from the school PA system. If a child is absent from an afterschool class but was present for the regular school day, parents will be called and notified. If your child will be attending school but cannot make their after school class, please immediately notify Barbara Fascenda in the office at 650-738-6655.
It is the responsibility of the parent(s)/guardian(s) to supervise their child until their vAcademy class begins and to make sure they arrive at their class at the correct starting time.
Students must be picked up on-time; no staff will be available after classes are over. It is the Vallemar School policy that an adult be present to pick the child up directly from school, and to not have children wait on the playground unattended.
